MEO Marés Vivas is a music festival held in Vila Nova de Gaia, in the north of Portugal, annually in July. It had its first edition in 1999 and in 2010 its eighth edition was held, featuring bands such as Placebo, Morcheeba and Ben Harper. In 2011, the ninth edition featured names such as Manu Chao, Skunk Anansie, Moby, The Cranberries, Aurea and Mika.
