“Far From God” – New single of Moonspell

After three unforgettable decades touring the world on successive tours, with thousands of records sold and their name—and that of our country—firmly etched into the history of both national and international music, MOONSPELL return to action with an energy uncommon for a band with so many years and miles behind them.

The spotlight is on their new album, “Far From God,” where they demonstrate a total mastery of the fusion between metal and gothic—a genre they helped pioneer in the late ’90s. The band’s 14th studio album will be released on July 3rd via Napalm Records.

Global Tours and Orchestral Success

Following the successful release of their live concert at the MEO Arena with the Lisbon Sinfonietta—where Opus Diabolicum sold out its first edition across all formats (DVD, Blu-ray, CD, and vinyl)—MOONSPELL have taken this orchestral adventure international. This month, they performed at the Pepsi Center arena in Mexico City, and this summer, they will bring the spectacle to the imposing Roman Amphitheatre of Plovdiv in Bulgaria.

The band recently concluded a highly successful tour of Latin America, a region they first visited in 1998. This leg included a debut performance in Honduras, alongside stops in Colombia, Chile, Costa Rica, Argentina, and Brazil.

Summer Festivals & The Return Home

In addition to Bulgaria, the summer will see the band performing at renowned European festivals such as:

• Graspop (Belgium)
• Wave-Gotik-Treffen and Party.San Open Air (Germany)
• Castle Party (Poland)

Not forgetting Portugal, of course, with the launch concerts for “Far From God” in Sintra and Porto. In 2026, Porto will host the band’s legendary Halloween celebration, fittingly titled “Invicta Halloween.”
