mARCIANO is the solo project of Marciano Homem de Marte, a musician from Leiria. His musical career began in the world of rock, but it was in the electronic pop language that he found his true artistic expression.
In 2017, mARCIANO released his debut album “14000 dias entre Terra e Marte”, the result of a successful crowdfunding campaign, where he raised €3,135, surpassing the initial goal of €2,500. This work reflected his passion for music and the ambition to merge the richness of alternative music with the beauty of pop music, marking a new chapter in Portuguese music.
Known for his experimental approach and ability to break musical boundaries, he creates characters for each new project, exploring different aesthetics and challenging the limits of musical genres. Currently, his sound is characterized by a fusion between fado and electronica, highlighting his ability to blend traditional Portuguese influences with contemporary and dark elements.
Throughout his career, mARCIANO has collaborated with several artists and participated in renowned festivals such as EXTRAMURALHAS in 2024, Festival A PORTA or CLAP YOUR HANDS, consolidating his position in the Portuguese music scene as an innovative and versatile artist.

There is a map that is not drawn on paper, but recorded in sound. Where each coordinate is a chord and each road, a melody.
This map is called “MISSÃO AMAR-TE”, the new album by mARCIANO, which arrived on February 14, 2025, in Digital, CD and Vinyl formats.
Not by coincidence, but by destiny.
On Love Day, mARCIANO and his band opened a portal for us where the only compass is the heart, and the only mission is to love. Love life, love others, love the planet and even love pain.
An album that is not a simple lineup of songs, but a living, pulsating organism, where fado-like touches dissolve into electronics, and nostalgia dances with the future.
At the helm of this sound ship is Martian Man from Mars (voice, synthesizers and programming), guiding us through a storm of controlled emotion, or not.
But no journey is made alone.
The bass and drums, led by Marte brothers Rui Geada and Nuno Francisco, don’t just mark the time: they double it.
The production was handled by David Wolf (Raised by Wolves Studios), who shaped the sound layers of this work as if sculpting light and shadow, ensuring a balance between the ethereal and the visceral.
Speaking of the guest crew members of MISSÃO AMAR-TE: The Portuguese Guitar, sometimes whispering ancient secrets, sometimes shouting to the Universe, meets synthesizers that seem to have been captured from an interplanetary frequency.
Carlos Amado’s fault, who lends his guitar as if it were an oracle of forgotten times, in BISSECTRIZ and ESSE CORAÇÃO NÃO É O MEU.
Words also stand like temples on this album. António Cova gives voice to poems that could have been whispered by the winds of the past, in 2 VIDAS e COSTAS EM COSTAS, all written by Jorge Vaz Dias, who traces the beginning and end of the poetic route of this journey.
In the middle of it we come across MC Santiago, who, in the role of a verbal alchemist, materializes visceral emotions in her Punhado de Areia.
And the words of Florbela Espanca, which intertwine in the gothic darkness of SEM REMÉDIO, like a letter never sent to infinity?
The album features a luxury guest. Matt Howden (Sieben, Sol Invictus), whose violins in TREMOR vibrate like an echo from another dimension.
There is also the pulse of war and uncertainty in RUSSIAN ROULETTE, a song where sadness and conflict are confused, turning the drum of an uncertain destiny.
And GAIA, the most powerful theme of the album, a cry of warning and reverence for planet Earth, where electronics and melancholy merge in an echo of resistance and hope.
Marciano carries the spirit of the wandering soldier, in the iconic SOLDIER of SIEGE. There are no weapons in the hand, but invisible battles in the heart, where the war is fought within each of us.
The title track, MISSÃO AMAR-TE, is the heart of this album. A hymn to surrender, vulnerability and the strength that resides in unconditional love. Like a lighthouse in the midst of a storm, the song illuminates the path of those who dare to feel, transforming pain into poetry and silence into melody.
MISSÃO AMAR-TE is not just an album. It’s a spell, a prophecy, a beacon in the fog. The cover, with a World Map by Oronce Finé (1531), does not only represent territories, but all the latitudes of love, all the borders that unite and separate us.
If music were a galaxy, MARCIANO would be the astronaut who dares to cross it without a map, just with a compass drawn on his chest.
More than an album, MISSÃO AMAR-TE is an emotional manifesto. A journey where music, poetry and art intertwine to remind us that, in any time and place, love will always be the true mission.
