Tsunamiz announces new album “Love Is Never Enough” – December 5, 2025

Independent artist Tsunamiz (Bruno Sobral) announces the release of his eighth studio album, Love Is Never Enough. This new body of work is a raw and honest exploration of contemporary disillusionment, deep frustration, and the pervasive feeling of social isolation.

A Voice Against the Odds

Born into a humble family in Seixal, Portugal, Bruno Sobral has consistently overcome structural and economic barriers to become a prolific producer. Tsunamiz represents a generation of artists who create fiercely despite the constraints of economic and cultural systems.

Since 2022, Tsunamiz has maintained an impressive pace, releasing a full album every year. This growing catalogue traverses genres and eras with a distinct artistic voice. His work has already garnered significant attention, featuring on national radio and playlists, including Antena 3, solidifying his position in the contemporary alternative music scene.

Album Statement and Sound

Love Is Never Enough is a concise and cohesive journey across 8 tracks, spanning 28 minutes. It is guided by a melancholic atmosphere that manages to be both danceable and aggressive—a form of active pessimism that refuses to surrender.

Sobral describes the album’s core theme:

“As human beings, we are fallible. We disappoint others and ourselves. This album talks about broken dreams, the passage of time, fading relationships, and the feeling of being stuck in a place where nothing happens.”

Musically, the album blends post-punk, dark wave, and alt-rock. The soundscape draws influences from foundational acts like Depeche Mode, Joy Division, The Cure, Nirvana, Suicide, and Alphaville, while nodding to contemporary figures such as Sleaford Mods and N8NOFACE.

Total Artistic Autonomy

In a powerful display of independent spirit, Bruno Sobral handled the entire creative process for the album: songwriting, recording, mixing, mastering, and artwork. Love Is Never Enough proves that a singular artistic vision can thrive regardless of technical or budgetary limitations.

The album features two special collaborations:

  • Miguel Leonardo on Free and Young
  • Priscilla Devesa on Danse Macabre

Released singles:

  1. Love Is Never Enough
  2. Free and Young
  3. Slide
  4. We’ll Stand Forever

The title track, Love Is Never Enough, offers a particularly intimate glimpse into the album’s themes of isolation, powerlessness, and economic pressure.
