Presenting the best of Portuguese music to the World!

Duque Província
Hailing partly from Cascais and Lisbon, the Duque Província find their place in the Portuguese music scene through original songwriting. With a fresh approach to indie-pop-rock sounds, the four young musicians have been accumulating listeners who praise the band’s versatility and irreverence.
Founded in late 2018, the four musicians cultivated public interest through independently released singles that became the soundtrack for Lisbon’s young people, culminating in their debut album “2032”, which opened doors to iconic stages like MEO Arena, Casa da Música, and the Sol da Caparica Festival.
With a unique ability to connect with the audience through lyrics, melodies, or live performances, the Duque Província are now preparing for a new chapter in their career. Their second album, developed in partnership with Sony Music, will bring a new and bold sound, already anticipated by the single “Prata da Casa”. Exploring territories that border on synth-pop, the four young musicians are committed to giving voice to the silent thoughts of their generation, translating emotions and concerns into music.
They look forward to a year where they want their music to reach all Portuguese people – all this without giving up the undeniable melodies that stick today, and, they hope, will always stick.
