It is the best-known band in the city of Cantanhede. It has existed since 1997, being formed by Pedro Assalino (vocalist), Pedro Fonseca (Guitar), Farinha (bass), Johnny Boy (percussions, DJ and electronics).
Members of Geração Promúsica, they take their first steps by participating in competitions held across the country. The band practiced an uninteresting pop-rock sound, with some influences from Incubus.
The group itself determines that it is not concerned with matters considered serious, preferring to delight in trivialities such as the adventures and misadventures of SL Benfica, the sun, beer and lupins.
Despite having been around since the end of the 90s, the band only recorded their first full-length in 2002. The album was titled “Open” and didn’t bring anything interesting. We were in the presence of soap opera pop music.
In 2005 they released their second work, which they titled “Flatline”, starting the promotional tour in May 2005. “Hi, Hello!”, the first single taken from the album, obtained some commercial recognition and great airplay on mainstream radio. , allowing the group to include tracks in the untold compilations of the “Morangos com Açúcar” series.
At the end of that summer, a new single was released, “D’s Song”, with a new promotional campaign aimed at the teenage audience. In 2007, the group released their third work, this time called “One Life Is Not Enough”, from which the single “Sometimes a Little Some Time!
