Stonebones & Bad Spaghetti

Stonebones & Bad Spaghetti are Portugal’s only Bluegrass band. Formed in 2009, they quickly built a repertoire of Bluegrass hits—traditional American music originating from the Southern United States, specifically the states of Kentucky, Georgia, and Tennessee.

The band has performed on various stages, with notable appearances at the 2010 TransBlues Festival in Guarda and the 2010 Festa do Avante, where they played at the Auditório 1º de Maio, the Café Concerto Lisboa, and the Palco Solidariedade.

The Lineup

The current lineup features:

  • André Lentilhas: Banjo
  • Nuno Lopes de Paula: Guitar and Vocals
  • Nuno Faria: Double Bass
  • Bruno Lourenço: Mandolin
  • Pedro Lopes de Paula: Kazoo and Washboard
  • Carlos Fonseca: Fiddle

The band also frequently collaborates with musicians such as Luis Peixoto (formerly of Dazkarieh) and Sebastião Antunes (formerly of Quadrilha).
