Trêsporcento are an indie rock band from Lisbon who, since 2009, have been carving out a place in the Portuguese music scene. With lyrics in Portuguese and a sound that blends melodic guitars with a modern approach, the group has established itself as one of the most consistent voices in the independent circuit.
The line-up includes Tiago Esteves (vocals and guitar), Lourenço Cordeiro (guitar), Pedro Pedro (guitar), Salvador Carvalho (bass) and António Moura (drums). Together, they took their first steps with a self-titled EP in 2009, which quickly drew attention for its freshness and strong songwriting.
Their debut album, Hora Extraordinária (2011), cemented the band’s identity, with songs that explored both personal and collective themes. The follow-up, Quadro (2012), confirmed their maturity, standing out for its cohesion and more elaborate arrangements.
In 2014, Trêsporcento decided to record live at Teatro Aberto in Lisbon. The result was Lotação 136, an album that captured the energy of the stage and the direct connection with their audience, strengthening the band’s reputation as a powerful live act.
The 2017 album Território Desconhecido marked a new chapter. With this release, the band ventured into new sounds and more introspective lyrics, reflecting both personal and social concerns. It was an album that showcased their versatility and their willingness to take creative risks.
After this period, Trêsporcento entered a recording hiatus, without releasing new original albums. Still, they remained active on stage, playing occasional concerts and maintaining a loyal audience eager for new material.
That comeback arrived in 2025 with the single “Dedicados”. Presented as the first glimpse of a new project, the track signaled a fresh creative phase and brought back the band’s characteristic energy. The response was positive, confirming that Trêsporcento remain a relevant force in the music scene.
Vocalist and lyricist Tiago Esteves also pursued solo projects during the break. His individual releases allowed him to explore different sounds and creative experiences, while never abandoning the collective spirit that defines Trêsporcento.
Throughout their career, the band has built a repertoire that balances lyrical introspection with instrumental intensity. Authenticity has always been their hallmark, as they prefer to grow organically rather than compromise their identity.
Today, Trêsporcento return to recording with the same determination that has guided them from the beginning. Between the memory of past albums and the promise of what is to come, the band reaffirms itself as one of the most consistent acts in Portuguese indie rock, staying true to their artistic vision and close connection with their listeners.
