Cidade CAOS – 1st single Dead End Surf

Cidade CAOS is an essentially instrumental music project with an assumed influence from the soundtracks of American B-series films, short and feature-length action films, adventures, or simple contemplation and live tuning into various locations around the world discovered during travel.

Starting from the concept “a soundtrack for every moment and for each of us” the sound of Cidade CAOS is always an open book on the sometimes most unlikely page. No musical element is refused, there will be a theme where it will certainly take place. Even the verbs and sounds of everyday life, or night to night, are invited to enter and artistically reside.

Cidade CAOS is the work of a musician, composer and mentor based in Lisbon who goes by the name Cidade CAOS, not wanting to reveal much more than the possible musical collaborations that may exist and the people involved in the technical part of the project. His professional past is full of several albums produced and being part of some groups.

Dead End Surf is the first record. Because there are times when we have no way out, nor do we really want to. Because we don’t know how to live any other way than constantly surfing. Because we are hungry and thirsty for waves.
